Ten brave and very bright isoc students ventured to Germany for the 19th annual Model United Nations of Munich (MUNoM) Conference. Joining over 400 other students from across Europe, our isoc Team performed with distinction.
After weeks of research and debating, Adam AAH.(Yr 12), Andreea C. (Yr 12), Clara C. (Yr 10), Evelin I. (Yr 10), Gabriel L. (Yr 10), Gemma C. (Yr 10), Maria C.V. (Yr 11), Mengye C. (Yr 12), Sanziana I.C. (Yr 10) and Sara B. (Yr 12) represented the interests of Belarus, Bulgaria and Venezuela.
MUN was an amazing opportunity for the isoc students to learn negotiation skills, cooperation and appreciate the intricacies of diplomacy. They hone their debating skills and build confidence by engaging with students from a variety of different countries and cultures.
Once the work was done, the evenings were all about exploring Munich. Walking through Marienplatz and Peterskirche (St. Peter’s Church), students met up with other MUNers. Saying goodbye to MUN and Munich was hard, but all the good memories are still with them.
